| Abstract | 余數年多病，不能與諸生會晤。今得相見，非常欣悅。既難相見，所以今日略講諸生平日所難聞之言。諸生在校日常習科學，對於佛之道，或不能有所致力。佛之道原不易知，所謂「人身難得，佛法難聞」。佛法難聞有二因：一、機緣難得；二、真義難明。有此二因，故世之明道者不多，因而信佛者亦少。欲明佛所言，須先解決以下三問題：一、宇宙觀；二、人生觀；三、心觀。佛之宇宙觀、人生觀、心觀，與其他哲學家所講者不同。佛法範圍廣大，其見地亦深遠，為其他哲學家所不能及。
