Abstract釋所創立之佛教，乃建立於對當時「正統」之婆
羅門教和「非正統」之唯物論者，耆那教的批判之上. 本文
試圖探討釋迦經由此批判心靈所昇華而成的教育理想.

首就宗教行為和教育制度的批判方面，著重於討論釋
迦牟尼反權威教育，反婆羅門的宗教儀式，反苦行，反不平
等的社會階級制度此四個主題之上. 其次在宗教思想層面上，
討論其對形上學與一神論的批判，如何昇華成四聖諦與
緣起之宗教哲理. 最後則總結指出此批判心靈在宗教哲學
的教育目的上所產生的啟示.
