| Abstract | 作為佛教教義中首要論題的「解脫」，前後期佛教有不同的看法。本文首先泛解脫的一般情景：涅槃論起，逐步涉及解脫的具體活動所論題有佛身觀 （正報論），本願思想與淨土論 （依報論） 等。
本文同時也指出後期佛教在解脫者的智力，肉體及所依淨土方面，都有回歸傳統印度教：婆羅門教的顯著傾向，從而迷失了釋迦的本懷。這在解脫者的肉體及其所依淨土方面所發生的流變與失真的現象上，更見明白。
