Abstract此石佛立像,已為T.Lawton博士,W.Waston教授及吉村怜博士等學者們所講述過. 然諸學者謹以石像造型形式,作一簡述論討而得出此尊石像是因於闡述一統宇宙世界構造觀的「華嚴經」思想而誕生的結論. 即所謂的「盧舍那法界人中像」.

今本文取以圖像解讀的研究法,將此尊石像作一詳細的圖像分析與解明,即區分為衲衣畫面的「圖像構成」,「構成表現」,「成立理念」三部. 然前者己於他稿別述(即之一),今不再贅述.

而後者即是對此圖面多繁雜圖像,作一可能成立的體系性表現思想探索. 今從衲衣所表現的圖像內容,作一整體分類,可歸為(1)屋宇圖(2)供養圖(3)人物圖. 而此三類與所派止性經典作一對證探討與解析時,得知此正是緣於自身所蘊含的(1)佛國淨土(2)蓮化生(3)諸身變現的三思想而展現的.

又,此畫面所展現的內容與「法華經」各品的像身構成意念,作一一抽取與整理,得知此中圖面是緣於經中(1)人中法身(2)久遠佛身(3)以相嚴身的三理念而構念成此尊圖像的成立. 故歸之,此尊像稱名,那慮舍那法界人中像,而是「法華經」教主的「釋牟尼佛人中像」.
