| Abstract | 按照佛教的說法，所謂「捨身」，一是捨資財，即將個人所有的身資服用捨給寺院；二是捨自身，即自願入寺為僧眾執役。據《梁書‧本紀》載，梁武帝捨身第一次是大通元年（527），時年64歲。第二次是中大通元年（529）。第三次是太清元年（547），時84歲。這三次捨身，在佛寺停留的時間，第一次是4天，第二次是16天，第三次是37天，時間越來越長。群臣奏表上書，稱蕭衍為「皇帝菩薩」，並且公卿以下，以錢一億萬奉贖。 |
