Abstract陳獨秀受佛教文化的浸潤，具有推重利生和不絕有情的特點。他對佛教文化持佛學佛教二元論觀點，在五四新文化運動中，把佛學與國民性改造問題密切聯系起來，在批判儒道文化的同時，旁及對佛教文化的批判，借以建立新的人權觀念、人格觀念和反傳統精神。同時，陳獨秀還憑藉對佛學內典的修習，建構了自己獨特的人格。
