| Abstract | 本文以《阿含經》為主，探討彌勒在《阿含經》中的角色，並探討彌勒信仰的起源與開展，特別是影響後世甚大的彌勒淨土信仰。首先從《阿含經》的成立，推測彌勒可能的起源時代；其次就南傳的《經集》，探討初期的彌勒形象；再就《中阿含經》、《長阿含經》及《增一阿含經》中有關彌勒的經文，探討彌勒思想與其淨土觀的涵義。進一步將原始的彌勒淨土觀與大乘淨土作比較，把握淨土信仰的根本精神。 |
