| Abstract | 1985 年第十世班禪額爾德尼延請札什倫布寺畫師噶欽洛桑彭錯，採傳統唐卡畫風，繪上師，本尊，佛，菩薩畫像十一幅後，使用紙張印刷，以普及價格發行. 瞻仰這些畫像令人易生敬仰佛法之心，足以撫慰西藏人民希求佛法的傳統情懷. 對西藏文化愛好者而言，這些畫像除賞心悅目外，並且提供一個認識西藏佛教與藝術的機會.
本文分析，描述這十一張唐卡圖片，採用德國波昂大學中亞語言文化研究所經過數年嘗試與研究，所發展出的一套固定格式. 這套格式原本是為記錄存於西藏文獻中，關於各本尊造型描述之記載所設計，然而同樣適用於客觀描述常見於塑像或唐卡中的各式人物造型. 筆者藉介紹這套科學研究方法，提供讀者西藏佛教，文化，藝術方面的資料.
