| Abstract | Nowadays in Japan，New type of religion，called Neo-newrising religion or Hyper religion，is prevailing and captivating mainly among young people.
Along with such a trends, what could do the traditional Zen Buddhism in Japan? Or，what action is possible to do from the traditional Buddhism? In modern age，especially after the World war，under the economic development.
Japanese Buddhism was corrupted to the outward formalism，and was losing its vital power. On the other hand，many young people feel the lack of satisfaction of mind.
Therefore, they are converted to Neo-newrising religion such as AUM. Then，what is the role of Traditional Zen Buddhism of Japan? And what could or should do from its side? It's a serious question. So，I'd like to try to join this problem，by analyzing the Traditional and Neo-newrising one from many sides.
新的宗教 -- 稱為新興宗教或 Hyper-religion，在現今的日本已是主流，其信仰的對象大部分都是年輕人.
在這股潮流下，尤其是在世界大戰後經濟發展下之當今，日本傳統禪宗佛教該怎麼應對呢? 一則是由於拘泥於外在的形式，日本佛教故衰敗而失去活力. 另一則則是許多年輕人覺得自己心靈空虛.
因此，這些年輕人將他們的注意力轉向新興的宗教如 AUM 這類的. 然而，此時的日本傳統佛教的角色又是什麼呢? 此時該採取什麼樣的動作呢? 這是個很危急的問題. 我想藉傳統佛教及新興宗教各種角度的分析，對這個問題加以說明. |
