Abstract本文從"法性是己性"、"法性是無性之性"、"法性與法身、神"等三個方面闡述慧遠法性論思想。"法性是己性",說明"法性"是超越以虛假為本性的現象的實在本質,其外延表現為真實的"多";"法性是無性之性"是慧遠在中觀般若學的接觸對"法性是己性"觀念的批判性成果,它說明法性是萬法萬相的共同本質——空性,其外延是真實不變的"一"。在"法性"概念的內涵與外延之變化中,始終保持不變的,是"法性"的超越性與實在性,及其與涅槃境界的內在聯系。這使"法性"與慧遠佛學體系中"法身"、"神"等重要概念獲得邏輯上的融通。在鳩摩羅什所傳中觀般若學"掃一切相"的思潮下,慧遠堅持從修行覺悟的主體方面去論證"法性實在"的本體論,并令"法性"本體與主體的本質建立內在的必然聯系,從而為《大般涅槃經》傳入后中國佛教涅槃學的轉向做好了理論準備。
