Abstract人間佛教(Buddhism for the Human World)是當今海峽兩岸佛教的顯學,自太虛大師(1890-1947)提倡「人生佛教」伊始,印順(1906-2005)、星雲(1927-)、聖嚴(1931-2009)、證嚴(1937-)等諸位法師,莫不提倡人間佛教,而締造了臺灣佛教復興的輝煌成果。中國大陸亦有趙樸初(1907-2000),大力倡導人間佛教,迄今受到中國佛教界的普遍重視與強力推廣。然而在上述諸位人間佛教領袖中,有的本諸緣起性空論(如印順法師),有的則本諸真常唯心論(如太虛大師、星雲大師與證嚴法師),兩者同樣強調大乘佛教「行菩薩道」的理念,然其思想進路與詮釋系統顯有差異。
