Abstract竺道生是東晉時期著名的佛教學者,他吸收和借鑒了儒家哲學、道家哲學的成分,積極研習和弘傳涅槃學,並融匯毗曇學、般若學、涅槃學三種思想發揮闡釋其涅槃佛性理論,被譽為“涅槃聖”。考察《注維摩詰經》相關論述後不難發現,竺道生在論述“常”、“我”思想時的語言、論證方式、思維模式都與《阿毘曇心論》相似而與六卷本《大般泥洹經》有一定的差異。此外,竺道生“闡提成佛”論雖然結論上與《大般涅槃經》相同,但是其論證方式卻是繼承和深化了毗曇學之“自性”學說而與《大般涅槃經》的論證方式相異。竺道生深受毗曇學影響,並且這種影響顯著地體現在其佛學理論當中。竺道生之所以成為“涅槃聖”,與其驚人的哲學天賦當然是分不開的,與其對涅槃經典的鑽研學習也是分不開的,但更與其深厚的毗曇學功底有著密切的聯繫。
