Abstract舍宮為寺是唐代非常重要的社會現象,某種意義上它反映了唐代皇室對佛教信仰的熱衷程度。通過對唐代幾例比較典型的舍宮為寺舊址的考證,查索相關文獻,認為中國古代寺院的布局從以塔為中心向以多重院落形式的發展過程中,舍宮為寺起了推波助瀾的作用。

Giving up the palace to temples was an important social phenomenon, which,in some degree, reflected the enthusiasms for Buddhism of the royal household in Tang dynasty. Through textual researches on the layout which was centered by towers to the layout of multiple courtyards, the paper points out that giving up the palace to temples played an important role in the evolution of layouts of ancient temples.
