Abstract從佛弟子到被奉為諸佛之師,從代表般若智慧到代表整體佛教智慧,是印度佛教中文殊信仰發展的兩條主脈。從爭論文殊與普賢排名到提出"三聖圓融"學說,從確立五臺山為文殊根本道場到建成佛教朝拜、修行、研究和弘法聖地,是文殊信仰中國化發展的兩條主脈。特例性質的文殊信仰在中印佛教中均具有牽一髮而動全身之勢,是中印佛教文化交流互鑒的重要成果。

There are two chief paths in the development of manjusri belief in India Buddhism, from Buddhist disciples to teacher of all buddhas and from on behalf of prajna wisdom to be representatives of the overall Buddhist wisdom. There are also two chief paths in the development of sinicization of manjusri belief, from the debate of manjusri and samantabhadra rankings to putting forward the "integrating harmony of the three Holy" theory and from establishment of Wutai Mountain as fundamental temple to building it as the holy land of Buddhist pilgrimage, practice, research and doing missionary work. Manjusri belief of special properties is extremely important in both Chinese Buddhism and Indian Buddhism, which is the important achievements of communication and mutual learning of Buddhist culture between China and India.
