Abstract如何看待疾病,如何看待佛菩薩與眾生不同的疾病?智顗認為兩者有所區別也有所聯繫。眾生之疾病是實病,有諸多成疾之因,而菩薩之疾病是權病,是菩薩大悲心起,因眾生實病而於應身顯現權病,其目的在於興教說法,利益眾生,消除疾病。權病無形無相,離身離心,不可思議,其所以可能治愈眾生實病,在於菩薩以三教慰喻,三觀調伏三土有疾菩薩之實病,而有疾菩薩現權病亦以三教、三觀對治三土眾生之實病。眾生實疾除滅,菩薩權病亦滅。智顗極為註重修行,當修行實踐中生起疾病時,他認為應該藉由十乘觀法來觀修病患境,禪修所起之病應以六治十法來滅除。實病與權病,一者思議,一者不思議。
