Abstract從變文到寶卷,講唱文學的說唱結構先后經歷了四個階段,即敦煌變文的兩段式,佛教寶卷的五段式,民間教派寶卷的六段式,以及民間寶卷的四段式、三段式和兩段式。敦煌變文說唱結構的形成是中印文化交流融合的結果。佛教寶卷以科儀的形式對俗眾講經說法,其說唱結構直接源于《銷釋金剛科儀》。民間教派借寶卷的形式宣揚教理,在佛教寶卷的基礎上加唱時興小曲,且主唱段采用流行的十字句韻文以吸引信眾,使宣揚更加通俗化。清朝康熙年間開始民間教派遭到打壓,教派寶卷衰微,民間寶卷盛行。隨著寶卷宗教信仰功能的弱化與教化、娛樂功能的增強,民間寶卷的說唱結構開始簡化,小曲和長短句因時人不會演唱而消失,五七言詩贊也變得可有可無。
