| 抄録 | This article focuses on the development of the first Buddhist nunnery in the People's Republic of China since 1949. Venerable Longlian，who has been a brilliant nun and scholar，initiated this school in the early 1980s. As more women join the Sangha community，they need further education and training for propagation and management of the Buddhist temples. The author has made tremendous efforts to collect materials for this unique Buddhist school for nuns in Tiexiang Temple that is not open to the public，and discusses the existing problems for Chinese Buddhist education. |
