| 抄録 | 學界70年來設定晉本《華嚴經》的領域來研究4世紀末以來北傳佛教地區的佛衣畫造像,雖形成了可觀的成績,但也因設定的經典太過廣泛,造成此一題目后續研究上的一些困難。本文指出,若將上述佛衣畫造像的經典出處進一步縮小在羅什本《十住經》"法云地"相關的經文,不但可以解決上述研究上的困難,亦可同時克服佛衣造像尊稱"法界人中像"辭義的解讀。
For seventy years scholars have used the Buddhāvatamsaka-mahāvaipulya-sūtra, translated by Buddhabhadra and others in the Eastern Jin dynasty (317-420), as a major source of reference in the study of images of the cosmological Buddha found along the northern transmission route of Buddhism and dated from the fourth century onward. There have been substantial achievements in this field of iconographical study. However, later researchers have encountered some difficulties because the scriptural sources are too extensive. This article shows that the origin of the scenes on the Buddha image with can be narrowed to Dharmameghā-bhūmi, the tenth chapter of Da’sabhūmi-sūtra, translated by Kumārajīva. This will not only solve the problems that later researchers have been facing, but it will also offer a better interpretation of the imagery on the robes of the cosmological Buddha. |
