This paper tries to illuminate that the logic of Fo-Xing -lun about `paratantra-svabhava` and `artha` is the same as those as that in `Madhyantavibhangatika` and Fo-Xing-lun's interpretation of Ti(substance) is similar to that in `Ratnagotravibhaga`. Just because the two dimensions (the logic of `paratantra- svabhava` and `artha` and the interpretation of substance) have inner relatonship,Fo-Xing-lun has important contributions to the issue of the Interweaving between `Tathagata-garbha` and `Vijnaptimatrata`, and then illuminate how the ontological turn is possible within the `Vijnaptimatrata` theory.
This article tries to explicate the three levels of `artha` of `Madhyantavibhangatika`: `arthadrstir`,`artha as `pratitya-samutpada`,and `artha` as `arya-jnana-gocara`. Fo-Xing-lun not only explicates these three level of artha, but also illuminates their correspondence to the threefold of `paratantra-svabhava`. This new dimension of artha in Fo-Xing-lun makes the ontological turn within the `Vijnaptimatrata` theory possible. So,Fo-Xing-lun can claim that three Nature (`tri-svabhava`) is a whole and `tri-svabhava` comprehends Buddhahood completely.
Not only does this paper try to represent Yeh, Ah-yueh's and Ueda Yoshifumi's interpretation on theories of "three Nature" (`tri-svabhava`) in a new field,but also give a new trend to the intricate issue of the Interweaving between `Tathagata-garbha` and `Vijnaptimatrata`.
