Though Buddhism has an ultimate aim if nirvana and its central issue is how to become a Buddha, the religion has as its objects the living creatures and therefore is still closely concerned with worldly life. The present paper analyzes Buddhist outlook of life from the following perspectives: the origin and composition of life, the process of life, the value of life, and the destination of life.
