| Abstract | 本文是譯自富蘭克‧雷諾斯(Frank Reynolds)教授於1972年發表的 "From Philology to Anthropology: A Bibliographical Essay on Works Related to Early, Theravada and Sinhalese Buddhist"，廣泛收集近160本有關初期佛教、南傳上座部佛教及錫蘭佛教之著作，加以分類、評論。文中論及資料雖多早期資料，但多為西文代表著作，以及提共當時可用的參考工具書等，具有參考價值，並可作為進一步研究的依據。 |
