| Abstract | 西元初佛教傳入中國後，印度佛法在與中國傳統本土文化歷經持久的碰撞中，逐漸完成了佛學中國化的進程。其中，中國禪宗的產生、發展、興盛尤其具有代表性。唐朝馬祖道一禪師在中國禪的轉化過程中起了不可磨滅的作用。其「平常心是道」、「即心即佛」、「非心非佛」的禪法和瀟灑峻烈的禪風不僅促進了禪宗的鼎盛發展和傳播，而且為禪宗的世俗化提供了思想基礎和「方法論」基礎。
