Abstract本文設置的論題,從「有無」做為論斷式的概念入手,探討有和無這一組論斷式的概念直接用成形上學概念的適格與否的情形。以《密嚴經》和《入楞伽經》為主要的文獻依據,經由典籍解讀、經證整理、概念分析、視角推敲、條理思惟,得出的論旨,確認「有無」並不適合直接擔任形上學概念。至於本文在思惟與論理的主軸,則試圖以「有無」為界面,以解開生命世界的「實在性/實相」為導向,從而開啓生命哲學在形上學探究的一盞明燈。在論述的行文, 由如下七節串連而成。第一節, 「緒論」,開門見山,帶出研究主題,並且逐一交代論文初步的構想與輪廓。第二節,釐清研究主題,分成三個小節。其一,著眼於概念與實在性之間可能的落差,區分適任的與不適任的形上學概念;其二,就有和無做為一組概念被用以論斷所訴求的語句形式以及所要表示的意思,展開構句和語意之分析;其三,說明本研究主題在探討什麼樣的論題。第三節,說明從局限式論斷移向越界式論斷如何引發論斷式概念的適格課題。第四節,預覽一些經典的非有非無之說,包括《阿含經》和《般若經》。第五節,鋪陳《密嚴經》的非有非無之說。第六節,鋪陳《入楞伽經》的非有非無之說。第七節,「結論與展望」,總結本文的要點,並且展望後續相關的探討。

This paper begins with the postulate that the concepts of existence/ non-existence are assertive and investigates whether this pair of assertive concepts may be directly adopted so as to properly qualify as metaphysical concepts. After close study of the two major sources, the Ghana-vyūha-sūtra and
Lavkāvatāra-sūtra, as well as textual studies, analysis of concepts, contemplating perspectives, and reasoning the deliberations, it leads to the conclusion that existence/ nonexistence do not qualify as metaphysical concepts. The axis of the thinking and reasoning in this paper tries to take the concepts of existence/ non-existence as an interface, aim to reveal the “reality” of the life world, and shed some lights on research into philosophy of life on metaphysics. The arguments are strung together by seven sections. The first section introduces the main theme, the initial thinking and the structure of this research. Section two defines the main theme in three segments. Segment one focuses on the possible discrepancy between concepts and reality, consequently differentiates the qualified and unqualified metaphysical concepts. Segment two analyzes the semantics and forms of the non-existence. Segment three expounds on the topics this article intends to discuss. Section three explicates what can be illuminated on the topic of assertions by shifting from bounded assertions to trans-boundary assertions. Section four refers to some quotations on neither existence/ nor non-existence in sutras such as the ?gama-sūtras and Prajñāpāramitā-Sūtras. Section five delineates the neither existence/ nor non-existence doctrine in the Ghana-vyūha-sūtra. Section six delineates the neither existence/ nor non-existence doctrine in the Lavkāvatāra-sūtra. Section seven, conclusion and vision, summarizes the main points of this article and points out the relevant further studies in the future.
