Abstract本文係方東美教授的授課錄音記錄,方教授認為要想認
識華嚴宗哲學應先瞭解杜順大師的思想,可是近代人要想瞭
解杜順的思想必遭遇到許多困難,首先要克服西方孤立思想
的偏見,分析邏輯的偏失,二元對立思想的矛盾,宗教立場
所產生的諸種錯誤,西方近代邏輯的偏失觀念等. 然後應
引用最新發展的關係邏輯及由內在關係邏輯的觀點來研究
華嚴宗哲學,才能如實掌握其哲學中所用語辭的意義並非
唯一獨特的. 也就是說倘若要想徹底瞭解華嚴宗的這種思
想,就須透過近代哲學「關係邏輯」的方法,才能徹底瞭
解杜順大師交相互鎔,旁通融貫的法界觀.

Understanding of Great Master Tu-shun's thought
is the prerequisite to comprehension of the
philosophy of the `Avatamsaka` School. However,
attemping at such an understanding today,one will
encounter numerous difficulties. First of all,one
has to overcome the prejudices of isolated Western
thought,the contradictions of dualism,
misunderstandings due to one's religious viewpoint,
erroneous concepts of modern Western logic,and the
like. Then one should apply the recently developed
relational logic as well as the idea of internal
relatoinal logic to the study of the philosophy of
the `Avatamsaka` School. Only thus one attains
actual command of the nomenclature of this school.
In other words, if we want to gain a thorough
understanding of the thought of the `Avatamsaka`
School,we have to rely on relational logic as a
means of penetratingly comprehending Great Master
Tu-shun's dharma realm view.
