Abstract魏晉以還,玄佛思想,浸潤涵煦,波瀾迥蕩,上承先秦
道家命脈,下開隋唐佛學機運,乃中國學術中之一大轉進.
因時空遷流,運會所至,而有清談與佛教之匯流,際此時期
,中國僧伽即以玄學思考方式與佛學相融合,形成中國佛學
之特殊精義,而在中國思想中增加一系新旨趣. 本文闡述之
重心,即在說明佛教思想之所以能在中國根植深化,魏晉玄
學或談風乃其重要因素. 且印度僧伽藉因明學以資論辯,與
魏晉名流承刑名學以利玄談,初無二致,此辯談之風,同為
中印人士所本有,是篇僅就外在之形式 -- 論辯之風,以明
清談銜接佛教之途.

The period of the Wei and Chin Dynasties (from
the third to the fifth century) was a turning point
in Chinese scholarship. It was a time when the
`Taqists'` airy,philosophical discussions met with
Buddhist teachings. The Chinese Sangha members tried
to integrate the Taoist molds of thinking into
Buddhism. In this way Chinese Buddhism with all its
peculiarities took shape,and one new system was
added to Chinese thinking in general. This paper is
an attempt to explain that the Taoist philosophical
discussions of the Wei-Chin period were one
important factor enabling buddhism to take root in
China's soil. Furthermore,the Indian Sangha carried
on their philosophical arguments by means of logic,
while the Chinese intellectuals of the Wei-Chin
period reasoned in terms of the philosophy of the
legalist school. Philosophical reasoning was native
to people of both countries. This paper only deals
with the form in which the Chinese airy talks were
related to Buddhist teachings.
