| Abstract | 本文討論玄奘大師和唐太宗的友誼，分析太宗晚年的宗
教心理，對佛教態度的轉變，及玄奘對他的影響. 玄奘大師
本人，對政治沒興趣; 但他在與帝王，公候的來往中，常
常牽涉到政治思想. 這事實多為學者所忽略. 本文從玄奘
的譯經，和他與太宗的對話等，找出他的政治理想輪廓. 因
為這種資料少為人所注意，故稱為探微.
Hsuan-tsang is well-known as the Chinese pilgrim
who travelled to India in search of Buddhism during
the first half of the 7th century A.D. and his
achievements as a translator，philosopher and
traveller have been widely studied，but his
political ideal is rather unknown to most of
scholars in Buddhism. This paper analyzes the
personal relationship between Hsuan-tsang and the
two emperors of T'ang dynasty after the pilgrim
returned back to China, psychological and attitudes
changes in Emperor T'ai-tsung and Hsuan-tsang
through their friendship，which finally led the monk
to present the Rajadharma of Indian `Mahayana`
Buddhism as the political ideal to the T'ang court.
Although Hsuan-tsang himself was rather relunctant
to push for the political ideal to the Chinese
rulers; yet at the same time，he was also not the
one who was completely apolitical as most people
thought. |
