| Abstract | 古來即有天台宗主張性具，性惡的說法。陳英善博士卻以為性具，性惡乃天台宗的方便教義，而其主哲理則是鳩摩羅什以來之遮詮式的「實相」。本文試圖以智顗「法性即無明」的主張為主軸，輔以「正因佛性」等概念的分析，證明天台宗的哲理，含有來自地論師和攝論師之宇宙創生的理論內涵；而其「法性」一詞，則染有濃厚的「真常唯心論」的色彩。因此，天台宗的哲理，並不限定在遮詮式的「實相」意涵中。而性具，性惡也確如古來學界所公認，乃天台宗的「圓教」思想，並非陳博士所以為的方便教義。 |
