Abstract二戰後，隨南亞，東南亞諸國的相繼獨立，傳統的宗教特別是佛教得到了不同程度的發展，但隨在近代各國走過的不同歷程，社會形態的不同和西方宗教文化的影響程度，及政治，經濟發展水平的差異，不同民族的構成，移民的傾向，宗教結構的比例及發展等，使政府和人民對佛教採取了不同的態度和政策，使佛教在這些獨立國家居於不等的地位，表現出不同的差別和傳播途徑，引發出各種與佛教有關的事件。
