| Abstract | 天台宗的根本道場--國清寺，是隋煬帝遵奉智者大師的遺囑所創建。天台宗歷代祖師皆住於此，天台學派高僧住於國清寺者也非常多；而寺外的豐干橋，相傳即為唐代高僧豐干與寒山，拾得嬉遊之地。在距離國清寺車程約十多分鐘的真覺講寺，即為智者大師的塔院，塔院四周，林木青翠，田疇綠野；雖大師的肉身已不在，但他曾埋骨於此，就值得後代佛子憑弔致敬了！
研究天台宗，才知中國佛教的廣博精深；上天台山，等於進入中國佛教的搖籃。而參訪智者大師的根本道場國清寺，及圓寂後舍利所葬的智者塔院，更能緬懷大師在此開闢道場，興隆佛法的苦心。
