| Abstract | 北宋初年，天台教籍由海外重歸中土，天台宗亦由此復興. 天台教籍自何處求回? 長期以來學者們對這段史實往往疏於考證，並且因循《佛祖統紀 諦觀傳》的記載，認為得自高麗. 本文從天台宗在高麗和日本的傳播情況入手，鉤稽各種史料，指出了舊說的錯謬處，並詳細論證了天台教籍得自日本的有關史實.
