| Abstract | 宋明儒學與禪學間，一直存在著同異、承襲等思想史和哲學上的問題，「陽儒陰佛」，便是一個常被提出的看法，陽明心學與禪學關係，更是常受爭議的顯例。陽明心學與禪學的關係，之所以會有這麼分歧的看法，除了學者在討論問題時的立場、角度不同外，兩者必然存在著實質上的共同點與相異點，而其共同點與相異點何在，可分很多層面而，「體用」觀就是其中之一。陽明心學與禪學在「體用」上的關係，雖皆為「即體即用」的模式，但陽明心學與禪學在「體」之內涵，與「用」之發動上，則有不同。因此，如要說陽明心學與禪學有關，僅能說陽明心學只在形式與禪學相符，但其「體」、「用」之內涵則大異。
