| Abstract | 近代以來，由於中國社會的淪落，以及外國宗教的傳入，在學術界產生了中國有無宗教的質疑，像胡適先生就提出：「中國只有名教，而無宗教。」這問題實際上乃是現代化和西方化浪潮的，一種民族文化的本能反省。……只要我們能說明中國宗教的特殊類型，也就有根據說明中國宗教的現代價值。這也是一個多元現代性的問題。
