| Abstract | 在佛教裏面，鐘鼓一般都是配用的，如晨鐘暮鼓，鐘鼓齊鳴是寺廟的特徵之一。鼓在印度，多為報時、警報之用。我國古代亦將鼓用於儀式舞樂與軍陣中。唐代以後用於僧堂規律、行事報時等，鼓成為寺院中常用的法器。傳至日本後，多在誦經唱題時用。
