Abstract禪宗有解悟、證悟之分。《禪源諸詮集都序》卷三說,由頓悟而漸修者,是就解悟而言;漸修頓悟、漸修漸悟、頓修漸悟,皆就證悟而言。『若因悟而修,即是解悟;若因修而悟,即是證悟』。是則宗密所言證悟,是指見道證果時的悟,即惠能所謂『證果漸中頓』;解悟則指證果前的悟,即《楞嚴經》所謂『理則頓悟』,惠能所謂『悟法漸中頓』,只是悟心性之理,安心,得正見,非實證。以此為準則衡量,則達摩二入之『理入』(由修壁觀安心)及《壇經》『一念悟時,眾生是佛』、『一悟即至佛地』等語。皆講解悟,『若開悟頓教,不執外修,但于自心常起正見,煩惱塵勞常不能染,即是見性』,當指見道證果時的證悟。
