| Abstract | 本文重點關注星雲大師關於佛教「慈悲」的理念，以此為切入點，探討星雲大師在推行人間佛教思想方面的實踐及貢獻。首先，對星雲大師的慈悲理念進行梳理，敘述星雲大師如何宣導佛教徒發菩提心，修菩薩行，以普濟眾生己任，以人間進取為目的來建設佛教；其次，介紹星雲大師如何以慈悲心關懷眾生、關懷社會，並如何通過文教、慈善事業來服務人間；最後，對星雲大師人間佛教思想的架構及特點進行總結，闡述星雲大師所宣導的人間佛教關懷人間，利樂眾生，以悲智願行建設人間淨土，以慈悲喜捨實踐人間佛教。
This paper aims to investigate Venerable Master Hsing Yun's approach and
contribution to propagating the concept of Humanistic Buddhism based on his idea
of compassion. First of all, an analysis of Venerable Master Hsing Yun's idea of
compassion is presented to describe how he encourages Buddhists to develop the
Bodhi Mind, follow the bodhisattva practices, regard the salvation of sentient beings
as their duty, and to further Buddhist developments based on the goal of bettering
the world. Secondly, the paper discusses how Venerable Master Hsing Yun, with his
compassion, serves and cares for people and society through cultural, education, and
charitable activities. Last but not least, a summary of the structure and characteristics
of Venerable Master's thoughts of Humanistic Buddhism is presented to describe how
Humanistic Buddhism, as advocated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun offers care to
the worlds; benefits living beings, establishes a Humanistic Pure Land with the spirits
of compassion, wisdom, vow and practice; and how Humanistic Buddhism is put into
practice through loving-kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity. |
