| Abstract | 呂澂是二十世紀最傑出的佛學家之一。二十世紀五○年代以後，呂澂先生在二十世紀中國佛教的知性向度上持續前行，既未走向自我否定，也未發生思想轉向，為二十一世紀中國佛教的知性實踐奠定了堅實的學術史基礎。
Lü Cheng was one of the most outstanding Buddhist scholars of the twentieth century. After 1950, Mr. Lü Cheng attained steadfast progress in his study of “understanding” (verstand) in Chinese Buddhism. He had no doubts or deviations from his original thoughts. Moreover, he established a solid foundation in the academic history of “understanding” (verstand) in Chinese Buddhism in the twenty-first century. |
