Abstract天臺懺儀歷史久遠綿延不絕,集諸多儀式而成,教觀并行、解行雙修一直為天臺宗人所重視,因此以天臺中興二師遵式的《請觀音三昧儀》與知禮的"理毒性惡"論來分析懺儀與義理的圓融。知禮辨析教理、著書立說,傳承弘明天臺圓旨;遵式制懺行懺、修道念佛,完善懺法實踐體系。《請觀音三昧儀》的特色在于系念數息、召請三寶、具楊枝凈水、誦三咒及通于十科的理觀。"理毒性惡"論將《請觀音三昧儀》所消伏三毒的相、用的維度與心性之本體層面相聯系,由性惡而達于實相之全體,完成了義理邏輯推論上的系統性。可見佛教儀式與理論相互圓成,助行者入于絕待不思議之妙境。
