| 抄録 | 在現代物理學的全新世界圖景中，對於世界萬有關鍵性觀念的革新，不僅打破了舊有物理世界觀的信條，更意外地與佛學觀念相符。關鍵性的一個改變即是對於物質客觀存有「實在」概念的推翻，不僅根本性地衝擊了事物存在的理念，更意外地導出了心物間的必然關係。原本在舊物理學時代是與宗教思想完全衝突的理念，在新的內部變革後卻成為與佛學對話的重要基礎，這些新的認知，對於在古老時代便已提出完整概念的佛學而言，對話僅是形式，更重要的則是賦予存在已有千年的佛學思想在新時代中的現代意義。本文將針對物質客觀實存概念的變革探討新物理學如何與佛學會通。
In modern physics, some crucial revolutions not only break the faith regarding substantial matters in classical physics, but even show correspondence with Buddhist viewpoint. In other words, although modern physics, with a different approach from that of Buddhism, investigates the structure of matters and principle of physical phenomena, some of its latest conclusions accidentally provide concrete evidences of Buddhist theory to some extent. The key is that modern physics reverses the concepts of substantial and objective existence of matters. As can be seen, both modern physics with its experimental evidences and Buddhism with its emphasis on human consciousness jointly expose some unusual insights such as: material objects lack substantial existence, and are inevitably affected by consciousness. Accordingly, after having undergone the inner revolution, the physical creed which has been the main conflict with religion, turns into a decisive base of the dialogue between physics and Buddhism. The dialogue goes beyond a communication between Buddhism and modern physics. The profounder meaning is that the dialogue brings Buddhism which has existed for thousands of years an unprecedented unfolding. This article shows how modern physics meets Buddhism and thus what contemporary meanings will be triggered by discussing the bilateral concepts regarding the existence of matter. |
