| 抄録 | 本論文旨在依據提婆《百論．破神品》一文，討論提婆如何在與外道的論辯過程中，破申印度數論、勝論等派有神論的自我觀念，而豁顯出大乘中觀「無我無非我」的無神、無我觀。全文共分成三部份。一、前言：關於自我心靈思索的一般考察；扼要綜述中西印哲學與宗教對自我觀念探索的問題意識，並歸納出「字我的存在、本體與認知」三大和新問題，作為本文論述的線索。二、《百論．破神品》隊友神論自我觀念的破申；先說明提婆《百論》的著作；次由<捨罪福品>空、無相、無作的觀點說明提婆的立論點；再分由「覺、知、思」三方面，說明提婆破申有神論自我觀的重要內容。三、結論：綜撮前文進一步檢討，表明佛教的興起主要在批判印度各宗派的學說中集其大成，形成「諸法無我」的觀點。
This paper aims to explore the debate of deism between Aryadeva, on the one hand, and Samkhya and Vaisesika, on the other, in Aryadeva’s, Satasastra. Aryadeva’s criticisms against Samkhya and idea of “Purusa” are discussed, so that his reason for going over the antinomy of anatman and in favor of the superior idea of anatman in Madhyamaka become clear. The whole essay is divided into three parts:
1. Introduction: introducing three important questions generally discussed in the studies of Self: the existence of Self, the substance of Self, and the cognition of Self.
2. Main body: discussing how raises objections to the concept of Self in deistic works. It begins with a brief introduction to Satasastra Aryadeva, goes on with a detailed analysis of Aryadeva’s views in the debate, especially the views presented in the first chapter of Satasastra, “On leaving sin and fortune” and comes to an end with Aryadeva’s explanation of how to account
for all phenomena by virtue of ‘bodhi , knowing, and cetas.
3. Conclusion: evaluating the importance of Aryadeva’s argument. It is suggested that the concept of in all phenomena originally came to birth as a useful weapon against the concept of Self in deistic works.
