| 抄録 | 淨影寺慧遠(523-592) 為北周和隋代的重要佛教思想家，他的判教學說反映他對各類佛典和各門佛說的意見，從而顯示他的教學的整體取向，有探討的價值. 「判教」者，是對內容，風格多樣的佛典和佛說，加以類別，疏理和會通的工作，為中國佛教思想的中心課題. 在慧遠以前，早流行著各種不同判教主張. 本文首先敘述慧遠對前人的判教主張的批評，繼而申述作為慧遠判教思想核心的「二藏」分類，和探討慧遠對「漸教」「頓教」這些重要判教觀念的理解. 又慧遠曾把佛教教義劃分為四門，稱之為「四宗」. 本文最後部分展示這分析的意義，並申明慧遠等視一切大乘經論的態度.
Ching-ying `Hui-yuan` (523-592) was a well-known Buddhist theorist of the sixth century，and an
exegete and lecturer of high caliber. Like most of the Buddhist thinkers of his time，`Hui-yuan` was
interested in the subject of p'an-chiao (classification of teachings). His discussions on
the problem reflected his opinions about various central Buddhist scriptures and traditions, and were
important to the understanding of the general orientation of his thought.
This paper is comprised of three parts. Part 1 considers `Hui-yuan's` criticisms of three p'an-chiao
theories of the past. Section 2 takes up the division of "two pitakas" which forms the mainstay
of `Hui-yuan's` p'an-chiao thought，and examines `Hui- yuan's` usage of the two popular p'an-chiao terms
"sudden teaching" and "gradual teaching". Part 3 deals with the scheme of "four tenets" with
particular reference to `Hui-yuan's` idea of the equal profundity of all `Mahayana` scriptures. |
