| 抄録 | 本文作者在此前的一篇文章中，討論過星雲大師人間佛教的修行理論的基本內涵，並指出這一理論是大師人間佛教理論、實踐的重要組成部分。本文在討論中引用初期大乘經典《大寶積經．迦葉品》一段講述菩薩修行問題的文字，並把這段文字與《貧僧有話要說》結尾的一段文字相互印證，說明星雲大師的人間佛教修行思想，基本的要旨是不離聲聞戒、定、慧三學的修學，及菩薩行的踐行，而發揚新時代的善巧方便，以試圖解決現代人類「如何可以修行」的這個大問題。
In a previous paper, the author presented the fundamental essence of cultivation in Humanistic Buddhism as advocated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun. Moreover, it underscored the importance of such theoretical understanding in the practice of Humanistic Buddhism. In this paper, the author cites the documented issues of the Bodhisattva practices from the “Kāśyapaparivarta” in the Mahāratnakūṭa Sūtra, one of the early Mahāyāna texts. The above-mentioned chapter and the last section of Hear Me Out: Messages from a Humble Monk have remarkable parallelisms and ascertain each other. This shows that the ideas of cultivation in Humanistic Buddhism as advocated by Venerable Master Hsing Yun are the same as with the Threefold Trainings (Śīla, Samādhi, and Prajñā) of Śrāvaka and Bodhisattva practices. Furthermore, it flourished into a form of skillful means (upāya) that seeks to respond as to how humans can cultivate in this modern era. |
