| 摘要 | 佛教在中國的流傳和發展，是和佛經的傳入、翻譯緊密聯繫在一起的。佛經的傳入和翻譯始於漢代，南北朝時達到高峰，並一直持續到唐宋而不衰。在長達1000多年的歷史發展過程中，傳入並翻譯出了煌煌5000多卷的佛經，對古老中國的傳統文化產生了極大的影響。本文所論即為此一歷史過程中的某些片斷，以便使人們對這早已過去的文化盛況有所認識和瞭解。
The Spreading and development of Buddhism depended much on the introduction and translation of Buddhist classics. It began in Han Dynasty, reached its peak in the Northern & Southern Dynasties and continued to Tang & Song Dynasties. For over 1000 years, more than 5000 fascicles of buddhist classics were introduced and translated, which exerted great influence on the Chinese traditional culture. The paper focuses on some of the historical slices so that it may help the readers to further understand this past grand cultural occasion.
