This article presented my opinion on the question of how to solve the problems existing in environmental protection and ecological construction, and held that in eastern religious thought ,there always existed rich ideas about ecological protection ,among them ,the mode of thought about the union of Heaven and human and the ideas of the consonance between human and nature and esteeming the right of life etc . all have very important significance of modern ecology . To solve the environmental and ecological problems, except the necessary technical means and legislation and regulation, the change of ideology and the elevation of mind are also necessary, the thought of eastern religions emphasized the construction of human spirit, an may redress the shortcoming owing to the backwardness of technology.
