東西方心理學對話之可能 -- 以佛性、如來藏心與薩提爾模式之對話為例=A Possible Dialogue Between the Eastern and Western: Example of the dialogue between Buddhata,Tathagatagarbhacita and the Satir Model
本文旨在探討佛教與現代心理治療的對話，俾使佛教和具體俗世生活有所連結，不致使佛教發展和時代脫節。筆者主要以如來藏思想中的如來藏心或佛性與家族治療學派中的薩提爾模式( The Satir Model)為切入點，探究二者對話之可能性與特色。透過二者對話，可以知其有無，互截其長。如來藏思想在「發展出有力的助人媒介物或工具，來幫助現代人處理心靈苦痛」是較緩不濟急、薄弱的；而薩提爾模式，身為西方現代家族治療學派之一，「不只相信改變是可能的，同時也發展出有力的助人媒介物或工具，來促成人的改變、成長」。不論是在個人或團體治療上，也都有其介入的媒介物與工具。而如來藏思想剛好可以深述、補白薩提爾模式中最核心地位的「靈性」為何，助其本體論述之建構。
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the dialogue between the Buddhism and the modern psychotherapy in order to connect the Buddhism with the material secular life, to make the Buddhist development not disconnect to the modern time. The approach is to discuss the possibility and the character of dialogue between the tathagatagarbhacita or the Buddhata in the tathagatagarbha thought and the Satir Model proposed by the Family Therapy School. Through the dialogue between the both, we could know the possession and lack each other, and could complement each other. For the tathagatagarbha thought, it is a slow action and weak to develop the effective helpful vehicles or tools to help modern people to resolve mind pains; but the Satir Model, one of the modern western Family Therapy Schools, not only to believe the possibility to change, but also to develop the effective helpful vehicles or tools to make people change and develop. Both the individual and group therapy, it has the vehicles and tools to step in. However, the tathagatagarbha thought could describe in depth and complement the spirit that is the core of the Satir Model, make the latter to set up its ontology.
