Amongst the three pagodas located in the Chongsheng monastery in Dali, Yunnan, the main one is most well known. This article focuses on the Sheli(Sarira) containers, found during the 1978 reinstallation project of this pagoda, alongside many archaeological remains related Buddhism. We divided these containers into four groups and examined the chronology and combination of each group. We also analyzed different categories of the Sheli(Sarira) remains. The ones placed inside the three pagodas belong to crystal Sheli(Sarira) and Fasheli(Dharani sutras). According to our analysis, this main pagoda was built in the first half of the 8th Century AD.
