『금강반야경소』의 저술 경로 재고찰 -- 천태지의의 저술로 전해지는 『금강반야경소』와 길장소⋅승조주의 관계 =Revisiting the Sources of the Commentary on the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā Traditionally Ascribed to Zhiyi
『금강경』은 6종류의 한역본이 현존한다. 그 가운데 구마라집 역 『금강반야바라밀경』에 대한 초기의 주석서로는 천태 지의의 『金剛般若經疏』권1(T33), 길장의『金剛般若疏』권4(T33), 승조의 『金剛經註』권1(X24) 등이 있다. 본고는 『금강반야경소』를 중심으로 최초의 주석서 『金剛經註』와 지의와 동시대 인물인 길장의 『金剛般若疏』를 비교하여, 『금강반야경소』가 저술된 경로 및 그 영향 관계를 검토하였다. 『금강경소』와 길장소의 영향 관계에 대해서는 이미 일본학계에서 몇 편의 연구가 있으며, 특히 “지의소가 길장소의 영향을 받아 저술되었다”는 히라이슌에이의 주장과 근거가 주목할 만 하다. 본고에서는 『금강경소』가 길장소의 영향을 받은 것 이외에도『금강경주』의 영향을 받은 흔적에 주목하여 『금강경소』의 저술 경로를 재검토하였다. 그들의 관계를 규명하기 위하여, 정설분의 전반부인 제 16분까지 『금강경소』와 『금강경주』를 대교하였다. 그 결과, 필자는 길장소 이외에 『금강경주』의 문장을 인용한 여러 흔적들, 즉 『금강경주』의 문장을 그대로 혹은 몇몇 단어만을 바꾸어 수문해석에 인용했음을 확인하였다. 따라서 『금강경소』가 히라이에 의해 제기된 것처럼 길장소의 영향을 받은 것은 물론, 아울러 『금강경주』의 영향을 받아 저술되었을 것이라고 생각한다.
There exist six Chinese translations of the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā. Among them, the Chinese translation by Kumārajīva has been preferred by the earliest Chinese commentators such as Zhiyi, Jizang, and Sengzhao. The relationship between Zhiyi’s commentary, the Jingang Banruo Jing Shu (『金剛般若經疏』), and Jizang’s commentary, Jingang Banruo Shu (『金剛般若疏』), has been dealt with and figured out prominently by Hirai, who asserted that Zhiyi’s commentary had been influenced by Jizang’s commentary. In this paper, I tried to find out another relationship between Zhiyi’s commentary and the Jingang Jing Zhu (『金剛經註』), the earliest Chinese commentary on the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā. For this, I collated the Jingang Jing Shu with the Jingang Jing Zhu word by word up to the sixteenth Chapter. As a result of this collation, I was able to find out the cases where Zhi-yi had quoted the sentences of the latter in the exegesis of the main text of the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā (隨文解釋) with or without changing the words from the Jingang Jing Zhu. On the other hand, there were other cases where he had quoted or paraphrased them in the part of the essential meanings (玄義) from the Jingang Banruo Shu. These cases indicate that, I believe, not only Jizang’s commentary, as proposed by Hirai, but also Sengzhao’s commentary might have had a great influence on the commentary by Zhiyi.
