Abstract《遺教經》原經名為《佛垂般涅略說教誡經》是佛於娑羅樹涅槃前對度須跋陀羅最後的教戒,佛說「所應度者皆已度訖」,又說「於我滅後,當尊重珍敬波蘿提木叉」以「戒」為師,以「戒」制欲端心,因此在經文中,佛陀用了牧牛、惡馬、狂象、猿猴四個譬喻說明如何調伏自我的「欲望」與「心性」,進而邁向自覺之路。
而佛在《遺教經》所用的牧牛、惡馬、狂象、猿猴四個譬喻在漢傳佛教中,「牧牛」一喻逐漸形成禪宗裡用來說明修證心性的「牧牛圖」,另外,《遺教經》所用的狂象、猿猴的隱喻則在藏傳佛教的「牧象圖」裡展像出來,圖式裡的「象」和「猴」是藏傳佛教用來說明自我「心性」的修行淬鍊過程。
因此,本文擬以佛教中的「牧牛圖」與「牧象圖」作為大學生命教育所揭示的禪修自覺之路,透過「持戒」、「制心」、「息欲」、「精進」終至「禪定」、「智慧」的制心禪修過程進而邁向自覺解脫之路。

"Fu Yi Jiao Jing"(佛教遺經)named by "The Buddha's Cast Bequest" is a Suo Luo trees(娑羅雙樹)before Nivana must Xu Ba Tuo Luo(須跋陀羅)with last rule, Buddha said "Have to do with myself doing" and "When I pass away, with respect to Patimoka"(波蘿提木叉)with "Rule" as together, and "Rule" control desire and mind, in the text, Buddha using Ox-herding, wicked horse, crazy elephant, monkeys as examples to explain how to control our "desire" and "mind", more on the road of my wake up.
Buddha in "Fu Yi Jiao Jing"(佛教遺經) through Ox-herding, wicked horse, crazy elephant, monkeys four examples in The Chinese passes on Buddhism. In the four examples, "Ox-herding" become "Ox-herding pictures", to explain a Zen(禪) style to saying correct mind. On the other hand, "Fu Yi Jiao Jing"(佛教遺經) use "crazy elephant" and "monkeys" to express our "mind" and become "elephant-herding picture" in Tibetan Buddhism, "elephant-herding", express our "mind" with a programs of much better process.
Therefore, in this paper will using Buddha "ox-herding pictures" and "elephant-herding picture" with college student life education hint us Zen through and self-thinking, through "keeping Rule", "control mind", "rest desire", "getting better". Finally get "Zen" and "wisdom" with control mind Zen exercises process go to self-mind of the road with control our mind.
