| Abstract | 坐在檳州華人大會堂翻閱《佛教文摘》；把零用錢省起來到大眾書局購買《慈悲》和《法露緣》；從台灣返馬後，知道大馬多了一本佛教期刊──《福報》；大馬佛光山也出版了本地版的《普門》。尚記得當年期待閱讀的感動，因為研究而對本地法師進行訪談，更確定了佛教期刊對推行佛教的功能和意義。
這是一項探討馬來西亞本土中文佛教期刊發展的研究，志於整合和回顧佛教期刊在馬來西亞的發展，關注的方向包括這些期刊的創辦背景、人物、內容行銷等，除了向前人致敬，也將探討佛教期刊目前在馬來西亞的困境。
The purpose of the paper is to study the history and the transformation of the Chinese Buddhist journals in Malaysia. The reasons that the Everlasting Light, Buddhist Digest and Buddha are selected as the cases of study are including: firstly, the origin, period, aims of these journals are different. It reflected the development of Buddhism in Malaysia. Secondly, these journals have been published more than 20 years in Malaysia. They told the consistency of the development of Buddhist journal in Malaysia. |
