| Abstract | 上個世紀七十年代，學術界對明清佛教的研究開始出現，而且學術論著頗為豐碩，大凡以明清佛教為研究對象的學術論著，都有關于“明清四大師”的論述，而且各方面都有所涉及。當時的研究，既有以歷史考據為主的研究，也有以專題性問題為主的研究，而主要以從佛學史和學術史為研究角度的概論居多。九十年代以來，繼七十年代研究之后，學術界又開始對明清佛教開展研究，而且研究有了進一步的深入，多以個案研究、問題研究為主。 對蓮池的研究也從各方面展開，涉及到蓮池思想的各個方面。或是研究蓮池的凈土思想，或是討討他的禪凈關系，或是討論他與居士佛教的關系問題以及分析儒佛道三教關系思想，這些研究對蓮池的思想諸多方面做了探討，也都有一定的深度，在此基礎上，筆者認為對蓮池思想從某一個角度作全面的研究就很有必要。 本文將從分析蓮池的著作入手，借鑒已有的研究成果，分四章來探討蓮池的思想。第一章介紹蓮池的生平和他的著作。第二章研究蓮池以戒為宗思想，內容分為二節，第一節主要考察他以戒為宗融通佛教各宗派的思想，蓮池的著作里重戒的思想很濃厚，而學術界對此卻著力不多。第二節則研究他儒佛一理的思想。在重戒的前提下，蓮池通過“戒名為孝”表現...
