Abstract徐渭的本色論是基于《金剛經》對外掃相的學理背景而形成的,是曲壇本色討論之外的獨立的藝術探求,而不是曲壇本色論的先導。徐渭本色論是自身藝術思想在曲壇的自然延展,是緣自曲學而又超越于曲學的關于藝術一般規律的探求。徐渭的本色論與李贄童心說、袁宏道性靈說等聲氣相求,而與何良俊、王世貞等人并無關聯互動。何、王之本色是為曲學辨體,效慕第一義;徐渭之本色是追求藝術本真,以自然為歸,其殊異與援據的學理有關。徐渭有異當時而嗣響晚明的重要原因在于藝術與學理融通的路向。徐渭、李贄、袁宏道等人都是憑借時代思潮之勢以論藝衡文,借助于學術尚真的理性正義,為力矯文壇摹擬弊習提供沉雄有力的動能,而與王世貞等七子派嚴格判分學與藝的取向迥然有別。
